Two full-time faculty members from the Department of Classics and World Religions at O.U. split responsibilities for leading the program.

Weeks 1-5

Associate Professor Bill Owens, Ph.D. Yale. Bill will direct the group during the first several weeks of the program, assisted by a tutor in Modern Greek. Bill will also conduct most of the on-site history course. He may even have time to read a bit of Homer with you.

Weeks 6-10

Associate Professor Steve Hays, Ph.D. Texas@Austin. Steve will finish up the latter stages of the archaeology course and direct the readings of Homer and Plato.
